Federico Valverde

Any legs in this, or just someone playing football manager? If there’s a chance, we go for him.

To me, the phrase 'old school' if applied to RM, conjures up the following connotations: arrogant, self-absorbed and petulant. After their recent skirmishes, I wouldn't touch Tchouameni or Valverde with a ten-foot pole, and for the record, I love the latter as a player, but.....
A ten foot Pole would be impossible to find but, funnily enough, the tallest Pole ever, was a woman called Margo Dydek. She was a basketball player and stood just over 7ft 2…

I remember her quite well - she was a #1 overall selection in the WNBA draft and played with distinction in that league. Tragically, she died from a heart attack (Marfan's Syndrome?) in her 30s.

Didn’t Odegaard come from Real Madrid?
Yes my opinion is a little mixed I think he is flaky when put under pressure in away games. He was non existent at the city ground and subbed off. Next 3 games might change my view depends if he steps up against PSG.

what would be RM asking price? he clearly is 100mil player

he is in hes prime, has long contract

Ozil and Kovacic were fairly successful
Ozil was fairly successful he won some FA cups wasn't certain where Kovacic came from but I would say he has had an impact as he has been part of a title winning team.

Which then begs the question would you swap Rodri and cash for him?
yes if Rodri wants to go, Valverde will have immediate impact

no if Rodri wants to stay, age gap is not so big and we better sign a understudy to learn from him
