i actually think he is a very good signing for them IF he stays fit....fergie will use him sparingly at first...like he did larsson......He will still score goals no matter what and with the likes of rooney and giggs (who in my opinion is still a very good player) he will have plenty to feed off....he will also fit in well with berbatov who thught he may not sbe scoring as many as he should, is a very cleaver player (as is owen) and id imagine they will link up well

Owen is still better than any of the out and out forwards we have we have at present (bellamy, RSC, Evans, Jo, ).......none of these are anywhere near as good

His first touch is that bad his second is a tackle,when he had his pace this didn't matter because he would skip away.Now after the injuries he can't get round the defenders he's fucked.Never been a fan since he left liverpool,he just can't do it any more.Look at the other clubs in for him,Hull and Stoke,not exactly going to pull up any trees are they? I 'd take Bellamy over Owen all day long and twice on sundays. He's the type of player we used to buy,thank god not any more.

The only good thing IMO is if he does come good once more, the world cup would seem that little bit more reachable. That said him and shriek will probably run into each other last game of the season and both be out of the squad.
