Amazing how close he comes to losing it on that spin. Wow that took some balls. Feel my stomach jump when he first jumps out.

Currently having an argument with a stupid woman in work. She is adamant that she has been told that NASA have had astronauts jump from SPACE before now, miles higher than Felix did.

I cannot find any refeence to this on Google to disprove her, all results come back to this weeks jump. Am I right (sure I am) in saying that she is wrong and NASA have never had a jump from space.

As far as I know this would not be possible due to the extremes involved and that we can only jump from as high as Felix did this week.

It wasn't an astronaut it was a cow. It was immortalised in song.

Hey diddle diddle
The cat and the fiddle
A cow jumped over the moon
And burnt up on reentry

That would be one hell of a ready made meal when it hit the earth

For me, the best bit about it wasn't him jumping out, but landing on his feet and made it look like he's just gone down a kids slide.

It's actually amazing how close he came to not doing the jump. The documentary is quite revealing.

But he did, and therefore he must have bolloxs made of titanium.

The footage is wonderful.

My fave bit is when he first jumps and just slowly floats down as gravity just has a fingertip hold on him before he then speeds up.
