Their silence is deafening considering it is now in plenty of papers that the FA are looking into it. If this was a player at another club they'd be all over it like flies on shit.

Er, if it was one of ours they would have been showing the elbow incident on a loop for the past 48 hours. They should also be looking at why Rooney who as far as I know isn't a qualified ref was reffing the game on Tuesday. Surely that isn't in the laws of the game!

Wouldn't be an issue. If one of ours had thrown his arm or elbow like that he'd have got a straight red card - no doubt about it.

The Football Association request further TV footage to establish whether Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini spat at Pablo Zabaleta during the Manchester derby.

A clip posted on You Tube showed Fellaini standing over Zabaleta during United's 3-0 loss at Old Trafford. The video suggested Fellaini spat at the Manchester City defender.

The FA feel there is insufficient evidence from that posting to warrant a charge and are trying to find out if there are any clearer images
