got some time on my hands ,so started to do the gardening, dismantled the swing ,and mowed the lawn had a good tidy up,anyway my fence panels on one side are fucking embarrassing ,rotting to shit , does anyone know a decent firm who will come and replace them but also take the old ones away

Hi mate, we had Monton Fencing round on Saturday to quote us for a new back fence as ours is showing its age now.

Been saving up a bit for this day as we need to replace 36 fence panels..

They will take away the old panels..

Said they were busy but were still open and working. That may have changed since as they have not yet got back to me with the cost..

Not chased them due to the current climate but will give them a nudge towards the end of the week to see where they are up to..

I know a few people who have used them and all have recommended them..

The plan is to sort the garden out for the bbq season as I feel going further that the back gate will be out of bounds in the coming weeks / months ..!

Always thought garden fencing are poorly made the sides and the bottom rot always far to quickly while the actual middle part of the fence last for tens of years! Why don’t they have the sides and bottom panel made out of brown pvc?

I know you can by pvc fencing and they are about £50 a panel minimum and well worth it if no painting no replacing them for ever.

They haven't banned people going to work "yet". They only say travel to work if it's essential, ie if you cannot do the work from home.

You should only leave the house for one of four reasons:

That must mean something like waneylap kind of crap.
There's only one way to build a wooden fence, treated posts, preferably hardwood, rails 3 per section and vertical pallings with a 10 mill gap.
Forget pre made panels.
