Ordered my copy off Amazon today, don't think he will dish nearly as much dirt as the press seem to hope/think. It's more the dressing room side of things i'm interested in.

Anyone done the "Got to the end of the book and 6 more pages suddenly appeared..." joke yet? :)

I bet you can't wait for "Davey's" book to come out.

Got to be up there with the greatest books of all time....

Davey's greatest football successes

Italian war heroes

German joke book

Thatcher and Mother Theresa: when separation at birth goes right

Ferguson: ethical football management

Rewriting history about Carlos Tevez:

"He has a hunger to fight all the time. It is a wonderful thing to see." (14 May 2009)

"I brought Tevez on at half-time in the 2009 Champions League final (27 May 2009) and just felt he was playing for himself a little bit.

Mother Teresa was far worse than Thatcher could ever have aspired to be. Just a side point.

Finally, after 26 years, a journalist asking the questions that none of his spineless, shithouse colleagues dared to.

Too little, too late but well done Jon Snow anyway. I feel Taggart's handling of the questions was poor btw. He didn't answer many of them especially at the beginning and really struggled with the more meaty ones later on. Not used to it, I imagine.

Q1: JS - "How different would this book have been if you wasn't still a director at Utd"?

BF - Rambles on for 30 seconds about the importance of controlling millionaire footballers.

Not a great start.

Wait until the end - he has the temerity to claim he has a good memory. If by good he means selective and usually wrong, then he's got a fair point.
