i sound 'raggish' because not being a Manc im more objective when criticising us.
What a curious statement.

Not curious........if i think a player is not a great signing i will say it.
Most City fans particularly on here will defend everything and call all players amazing before they sign and prove to be average, then call anyone who doesn't 'big up' the player a Rag.
I don't slag any player off and support any wearing the shirt, including players who get slagged/blamed for any defeat ie kolo/Kolarov etc
So i find it 'curious' that not finding a player amazing makes me a rag??

The curious part of the statement is that you think that not being a Manc allows you to be more objective and a superior analyst of the team. Manchester born fans are too close to their team and cannot be as objective as you can be. So, "rag" might be inappropriate. But "plastic" might be appropriate, since you are saying that your lack of natural ties to the team lend to your superior analysis and you just aren't so emotionally attached.

He could very well be both.....

I'm from Manchester but live in London now.

I think this means I have outstanding "natural" ties AND "objective analysis".

ALL BOW DOWN TO DOBSY.

This 5 caps thing again, I wish some of you could understand the politics of Brazilian football.

What a ridiculous comment.

Hes not even played yet ffs..

Very true and when he does i'll support him if hes great or not......but i won't be telling everyone hes 'Amazing' until he has played for us and we know. My original point was that a 28yr old with 5 caps and not in the Brazil squad does not support quotes such as 'one of the best midfielders in europe'.Therefor not making him a signing that is exciting more a 'we will see'
How about his performances for Shakhtar Donetsk in Europe? Don't they count?

Fifa players out there, new squad update includes Fernandinho! Rated 79! talk about underrated

Yeah I played 3 online games with him in the team and he scored the first goal in all three! Wasn't even intentional he was just getting in all the right positions. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

Sorry, does not agreeing with everyone we are linked with being 'Amazing' qualify?? It is possible to support city without the blue tinted specs and be objective sometimes...try it, your be far less tense! ;)
The amount of times I've been tagged as "contrary" on this forum is reaching into triple figures, but not one person has ever seriously accused me of being a Manchester United fan like they have you.

Ive been accused of being a Southampton fan in the past because i said Benjani was crap?

DUCADO...believe what you like, there is at least one ex-member of the now defunct (and believe now re-opened) Wessex supporters club that i regularly travelled with on this site.

Relax dude! I was born less than 1/2 mile from the Etihad, been a season ticket holder for 30 years, have a 'my first game' murial over the entrance of block 126 inside the ground and a moderator on here tried to 'publicly out' me as a Rag on here only a couple of weeks ago! Obviously he had to publicly apologise which made him look very silly. So don't worry about it. A few on here get a bit touchy if you are not 100,000% positive about everything city and have the outlandish audacity to even think about putting forward an alternative viewpoint to their superior knowledge on all things football.
You know you are a blue and that's all that counts. Keep posting and keep the faith!

That is because he has great long range shooting same in real life again giving us something we currently lack.
