Yes. Getting work permits for Brazilian internationals is always a bit tricky.

Just hope he proves better than the last Brazillians( although they gave me some pure moments of magic). Welcome to the City of Manchester (provided he passes of course).

This guy hasn't just rocked up off the Copacabana.... he's put in some hard labour winters in Ukraine. January gales in Manchester will feel like a refreshing summer breeze!

Navas and Fernandinho done. Wow...we aren't messing about. What a difference it is between Fernandinho and Marwood.

Isco and Cavani next. Then a central defender. That said, we have a top class Central midfield with Yaya and Fernandinho. But with Rodwell, Barry and Garcia...our back-up aren't nearly as impressive. Wonder if we'll sign another? If we can sell Garcia...

I'm not sure that matters. The UK are pretty strict. If you haven't played 75% of your nation's competitive fixtures over the last 2 years (and even then your nation needs to be ranked by FIFA in the top 70) then you need to either be a young player with immense potential or else an extrremely high calibre player the quality of which it's not easy to find from an EU nation. Tio be honest, I'd be surprised if he hadn't somehow managed to get hold of an EU Passport for some country or another anyway to negate the need for a work permit.
