as i basically said in a thread a while back, i trust the guys who ran the most successful club in football history to not be morons.

shouldn't everyone else, too?

No. Blind faith is not good for anyone. It good to question. Also one of them wasn't to clever at Spanair.

I get the feeling that half the people bemoaning the fee paid are doing so because they're worried about how the fuckwits in the media will paint it to make it sound negative, then there are those who don't want their raggy gobshite mates on FB and the like to be able to take the piss because of our perceived overspending then there are the worse of the lot - raggy gobshites who have signed up to bluemoon pretending to be be City fans so they can get their shits and giggles by having sly digs, except they're not clever enough to be sly and they instead come across as the cunts they are...

Great player, can't wait to see him in action - just wish we hadn't spent so much. :-)

I wonder what the main driving force is behind those questioning the fee paid ??
you're not allowed to question them sam

not unless you want to be accused of being a paranoid anti-rag hawk who wants the board to be run like north korea

perhaps we should run the place like RAWK/ragcafe so the number of saddos on here pretending to be blues feel more at home
I vote in favour

The full backs at Spanair were shite. Good call.

It's not your fucking money. They know more about him than you. Deal with it.

*too not to clever (ironic that)

Fernandinho seems an excellent player to me from the little I've seen of him. That little includes two games against Chelsea, in which he seemed anything but the Ramires-but-not-as-good player the press now dub him. He was wanted by numerous "big" clubs (one not far from here) but now he is a City player. The Bleacher Report and our 'Arry's son reckon he will be the transfer of the window and will take the PL by storm. Our friend from Talksport also had glowing praise to lavish on Navas. Two pretty good buys.

How much? £58 million the pair .... if you believe the press. I don't. Stuart Brennan, speaking on the radio (Talksport?) yesterday, said he had no idea where the figure of £34 million came from, that he thought that someone had added transfer fee and wages together, and that the figure he was getting from sources within City was £22 million. The figure for Navas was £17 million. The Fernandinho deal was "stuck" until the signing of two Brazilians appears to have given Shakhtar an appetite for the deal, which was blocked because City wouldn't contemplate the release clause value. I can't see why we should suddenly cave in. The Navas deal appears to have gone smoothly without the need to haggle and bicker.

The ground seems to have been well prepared by City and we got our men - at a fair price.

At one of the firms I deliver to, one of the employees said, "I see City are trying to buy back the title".

I replied, "United have never done that, have they?"

As I walked away, I could hear one of his colleagues laughing.
