Will always be remembered as a CDM but he turned out as CB, FB, even right mid under Pellegrini. Hopefully he has an iconic goal in him before he goes.Probably my favourite player of all time. I remember when pep joined and i watched dinho as a sole dm i didn't think it was possible! He's played every position on the pitch during his career and is still so underrated. Absaloute boss and will always be one!

I hope so and I hope he gets the reception Sergio, Dave and Vincent would get, he absolutely deserves that at the very least .He'll be back, even if just for some of our matches, his Son is City obsessed.

If he wants more minutes, he needs to move.
If he wants to be in Brazil, that's fair enough.
He been a superb player for City and a loyal one. Time waits for no man though and we need to bring a younger, quicker DM into the squad for next season.

I wouldn’t describe it as shitty. Not great but not that big a deal. Fernandinho is our sergeant major. He probably has a slightly arms length relationship with Pep. And pep always says he doesn’t get involved in player contract issues. The man has been as important to what we've achieved as Vinnie, David and Kun. Not many players in this era effectively pay some of their own transfer fee to go to a club. But he did, IIRC. It would be fantastic to see him stay on in some sort of coaching capacity, possibly at the academy. But it's perfectly understandable that he would like to continue playing, maybe back home. Should he be leaving us, I hope he gets the send off he deserves at the Villa game.

Yea I know what you mean but don’t you think Sky have tried to make this a bigger deal than it actually was and so many on here have taken the bait and are saying bye bye too early ?
