Surely not?
my one worry with a team like that (don't think we will get Reus tbh though) is Fernandinho is the only one in that lineup who would be willing to put a defensive shift in, wise to perhaps keep Milner in the lineup so that we are not too open, I wouldn't trust any of the the others to track and thus we might be a bit short sometimes.

How many midfielders do you want to put a defensive shift in? A lot of our problems are from having too many midfielders who are better at the defensive side of things. Against a big team put Milner in. Or Garcia to partner him with one of Silva Reus (in your team - I don't think he is coming) or Aguerro to the bench.

Dortmund & Bayern have 11 doing it then half of them can sprint forward faster than we can sprint (idle) back. As did Napoli last season. It's time we adapted. Beat those teams by working harder & being bett organised & better skilled, then play the fanny/ tiki taki teams against less athletic opposition.

Yet this guy who obviously can attack and defend is a problem? Surly he is exactly the player we need then.

From the ex scout and former Monaco CEO @karlsentk:

If true, Fernandinho (S. Donetsk) --> Man City would be an amazing signing. Massively underrated, a real box-to-box midfielder

And before you go there: there a places in Ukraine far colder and windier than Stoke (though possibly not wetter) & they have Tuesdays too

So boom.

And for the people who doubt the source just refer to LC's previous post about what else he's been bang on right about

Can he handle a warm sunny afternoon at the Emirates though ?
Pfft light weight he is :p

2 incomings done and dusted. Makes you wonder how many other ins and outs have already been finalised by Mr. Begiristain.

side note, can you imagine how much better this summer will be if we have our targets all in well before august? none of that sell before you buy idiocy

-- Tue Apr 30, 2013 6:20 pm --

he makes a world of difference (and admittedly gives some credence to mancini's claims about marwood)
