Yeah, you can check all the stats too if you want (you can say they mean nothing too, bothers me not) as if he completes the pass I could care less if he 'telegraphs' it. He's a scapegoat, he'll never be accepted ever, not unless he becomes an overnight sensation which he won't be. Barry has been incredibly shit in some games, but people still rave about him, as it is we need to upgrade seriously in the center and this guy looks like he could be just that.

For the record I don't think Garcia is up to it, he's much to slow and doesn't really make up for it with his apparent intelligence either, loses his man too many times as does Barry. Just making the point his passing isn't the weak point.

As a clean, efficient passer, Garcia is one of our best. He probably gives it away the least.

It's not missed placed passes that are his problem it's that he is very ponderous with the ball at his feet and appears to have it taken off him quite frequently.

I agree on this point too, he's too slow in play and in his head, I just think its unfair to tag him as someone who passes the ball away. He's a good header of the ball and a decent passer given a minute's time to think, he just happens to be too limited to play in a modern midfield which we are playing with, he's good at the base of three where he has more people doing work in front of him.

Are you guys going to see Garcia?

I think Barry can do a job but Garcia looks really slow and lethargic.

Garcia would do a fine job for a Villa or a Stoke. He's very mediocre at best, and, for our requirements, was a piss poor purchase.

The problem is,we are probably stuck with him - I have a feeling he is the new deadwood.

I hope he proves me wrong on all of the above.

You're not a good passer if you telegraph your passes

Is it?

Says a bit about his personality. Sees football as a career and a way to earn money and he doesn't like women's football, doesn't expand on the second point but with the emphasis we're putting towards a club for everybody at the moment it's an interesting PoV.

If he telegraphed his passes he'd lose the ball more from passing it away, as it is, he doesn't.

Haha, love how he was painfully blunt in regards to not watching nor liking women's football.

The rags are not happy we signed him, they are fuming. Its sad that the majority of football fans have seen how good he is except some of ourselves.

He will walk into our starting 11 and improve our team instantly.

Fernandinho saying he doesn't like women's football is just like him saying he doesn't like cricket - women's football is a different sport to the men's version of the game.

There are several footballers in the men's game that don't like the men's game either. Assou-Ekotto at Spurs openly admitted that he hates football and only plays for Spurs because of how much money he earns. I say fair play.
