If Liverpool fail to get the investment they soooooo need, and finish out of the top 4 this season thus missing out on champs league football next year.... a cheeky bid for both?

Gerrard not everyones cup of tea but still a great player.. maybe liverpool through and through but he has a burning desire to win the prem, can't see liverpool doing this in the near future. Gerrards ambitions will not be met by the dippers who may need to sell...

Torres well imo best striker in the world, we obviously like him having bid for him in the past.. same as Gerrard could become available but could we lure them both or 1 or the other??

Apologies if discussed previously.. but i feel this could become a real possibility...

Liverpool are in a different financial position to to the clubs of the above players. They may not have much choice but to sell!

THey could well be, but i'm sure if they have to sell any of the two you have mentioned there will be plenty of clubs that will pay liverpool for them. When we are competing with Barca, Chelsea, Madrid etc we can compete money wise but as we have seen with kaka, eto'o etc then these bigger teams win out at the minute and it will be 3 or 4 years yet until that changes.

Also do we want players that are willing to jump ship after one bad season?

What about when Gerrard all but signed for Chelsea, only to stay at Liverpool due to family death threats etc..... and Torres would never join another Premiership club?! Why is this? Can no other Premiership club match the quality and wages that Liverpool can offer...? I don't think so somehow

I weren't being funny pal but this simply won't happen. Its a straight NO with Gerrard and Torres has stated he doesn't want to go to any other prem league club other than stay at Liverpool as he loves the fans.
