Fernando Torres considering his future....

Call me crazy but I'd still snap this guy up in a minute,
I think he has much more to bring to the table then what he's shown this season.

If Carlos and Dzeko go, I think we should try sort a deal for him.

Dzeko out and Torres in would be unbelievably crazy - just compare their PL mins per goal ratio for last season

Reading the full article he sounds ungrateful,he was bought to score goals he didn't,he played a lot under AVB and he and the team didn't perform, when Di Matteo took over he played Drogba in all the big games,Chelsea won an FA cup and a champions league. Although Torres didn't play in the FA cup final he got plenty of game time in the champions league final and a winners medal for his troubles.

He should be proud of his clubs achievements and be grateful he was part if it.

Surely not. Apart from his 2+ years of poor form, (including compared to our current 'back up' strikers like Dzeko), he has made it clear that he's not happy playing second fiddle and spending a lot of time on the bench - which he'd surely have to do at City. As gambles go he also wouldn't be cheap either in wages or transfer fee.

Wouldn't have here ever. Only a petulant self absorbed diva would go public like that right after Chelsea's big moment. He stuffed Liverpool as well by handing in his transfer request on the last day of the Jan Window whining that he wanted to join a big club and win trophies. Well Chelsea stuck by him when he couldn't score on an open net and kept him around long enough for him to lift 2 trophies and this is how he repays them?

Never.

So you want a player who is complaining of a lack of playing time at the CL winning squad to come here and then suffer from a lack of playing time as we have superior players in front of him? Who is he better than currently in our squad? Even Adebayor who is on loan has been more prolific. Football is not about past glories at this level. He was great at Liverpool but we are not a Liverpool level club.

He knows, even before he's set foot in the place, that we will always rotate players
Chelsea is an old boys club, run by Terry, Lampard, Cole and Drogba. Torres never stood a chance there

This is why Torres will never get a chance there.

absolutely spot on. He needs a mid to top six side where he will get game time guaranteed each week.

His link up play with Silva would be great. I know he hasn't done fuck all for 2 years, but he's still got I reckon.
