So today has seen us informed

1) The Sheik has decided to get personally involved in this transfer which means funds are unlimited and probably so are wages.
2) Chelsea ITKs and all the press and media still think he is going to them although maybe some have reservations he may not leave at all.
3) Roy Hodgson hasn't spoken to Torres yet but is confident his mate at Liverpool Gerrard will stay.
4) Citys ITKs want everyone to calm down but seem to think and imply Chelsea are no match for us and are out of it.
5) Torres himself won't comment or publicly commit himself to any club until after the WC is over.
6) If the ITKs are correct meetings scheduled for next tuesday
7) Final bids are going in for Milner Dzeko and Luis with press speculation saying we might be getting involved in player swap deals, but these are highly unlikely given the complex nature of the dealings.
8) We have rejected a 16.7m for Robbie again press specualtion.

And I am no wiser than I was this morning that any of these deals will happen except if I believe the pms I have received all I have to do is believe, but find it difficult after the Kaka and Ronaldinho transfer. Ah another day in the life of Bluemoon.

excellent summary that rammy and i think after sunday things are gonna start picking up speed again!! am sure a lot of players would like their future sorted before going on holiday.

as i have already posted odds are now 13/8 for torres to be a sign for city. chelsea are 2/1. all the papers have gone on about for the last week is how chelsea are favourates. if so the odds world be the other way around.

Ahh, the league makes us excited too. Actually all trophies make us excited, but the Premier League especially and probably the Champions League if we ever got there. I know what you mean, though, the first trophy and everyone will go mad. I remember it vaguely in 1997 (when we won the FA Cup), but I was only 7 at the time, so I didn't really appreciate just how long we had to wait for that moment.
