Thanks for the pm de niro I can go back to work now. Great news.

What did de niro say?

de Niro said maybe Tevez is going but that surely can't be the great news his PM.

Tevez has already said he doesn't regret coming here as well as saying we should go after Torres so I'm sorry but I can't see how Carlos might be going. Also I cannot see Torres coming either

There is most definitely still some mileage in this transfer yet.

Over the past 3 weeks all the planets (PM's ;-)) have come into alignment and agreement that there are definitely things going on with Torres.

Where this leads only time will tell.

I havent thrown my slip for £50 @ 7/1 out yet.

anything promising coming from the torres camp?

well, allied to fbloke's PM's (stop teasing you teasing teaser), we had a few stories in the papers over the last 7 days saying we would go back in for him. huge difference between going in and getting, of course.

anyway, the one conspiracy theory that took my fancy suggested we might be threatening to bid on Torres to piss chelsea off, that we would settle for Balo (maybe Dzeko too), if Chelsea pulled out of the race for Luiz.

The fact that there are talks should tell us all enough.

It will come down to Torres 'wanting' to join the Blue Revolution, and Mancini has made enough public statements about players likely regretting not joining City now because of missing one season of Champs League.

Thats not exactly a coded message is it.
