If your referring to players not wanting to come, i think that we have dispelled that little myth now.

If not and your referring to some of our fans then i apologise.

I think that even with some trophies in the cabinet, some of our own fans will always have a downer on the club?

No point making an official bid for Torres now because it won't happen, yes the club might agree but given the earth shattering news it would bring I don't think Torres would agree especially while he is in SA. In another week the WC is over and you can expect these players to be jetting off on their holibobs but they will all know they will need their futures sorted with the various clubs. For me the only way we will get Torres to agree to come to us is if Liverpool sell his mate Gerrard and that is looking likely even Thompson admits he will leave. With him gone Torres is left on his own and that is the time to start to see whether he would come to City. Of course in the meantime nothing like finding out all the commercial contract he has and even enquiring what he and his agent want in terms of money. Of course all this could end up as nothing but it is my take on the transfer of the summer.
