Of course i´m joking. Torres knows the club is in deep trouble when their biggest summer signing is a chelsea and england reserve player on a bosman deal. If he stays it´s only because he is loyal and he knows the next season will be another wasted in his career. If he has any ambitions he goes to a club who are title contenders (chelsea) or a club who will be title contenders (city).

IMO the only reason Torres has come out and said what he has is due to loyalty bonus. He won't request a transfer so that dippers have to give him a slice of the fee.

i think there is some way to go in this yet!

there is still over a month yet of the transfer window and i would be surprised if we were not up to our necks in negotiations on one or two major players up till then excluding Mario and Milner imho.
