My God,the flappers are once again out in force.Knicker wetting for no apparent reason. Fernando has decided he may as well go back on his hols whilst the dispute with his Club takes its course.

If we are still ironing out clauses in his contract....(no matter how small they are), they are not as close to deal as everyone thinks/reporting....a deal isn't done until its done......so in this case we are as close to signing him today as we were in Jan........if that makes me a "flapper" then I'm happy to start a "flapper supporters club".......as a new boy to the site. I never did understand the issue with being called a flapper.....I'm passionate about my club and want us to win, so if emotions get the best of us now and again......whats the big deal.....but will always respect other peoples views mate....no matter what they are........

This has NOTHING whatsoever to do with City,but the player and his Club ref payments between both parties and whether he should be paid them ie bonuses,loyalty payments etc.
Stop flapping it will materialise in Citys favour. ;)

It's never easy with City is it? Looks like a lot of people, to paraphrase Tobias Funke, 'Prematurely shot their wad and have something of a mess on their hands'.

Well, to be fair, his own agent said the deal would be done by the end of the week. It just looks like details that will eventually be ironed out, especially as Fernando has no apparent will to stay at Porto and cut short his own holiday to try and rush through a deal.

I agree mate......its all about keeping the right balance.....just don't see anything wrong if people want to have a panic "girl" moment if something isnt going are way....after all, that's why there is a message board to express your feelings good or bad about the team you love.......

I just want this dude to be signed! Also the tweet from Garcia worries me. Id rather sell rodwell than garcia in our situation... Hope IT all gets solved soon so we can move for the next target :)

I remember the flapping that went on when the Pellers appointment was delayed last year due to 'contract details being finalised'.
Likewise this could drag for a few more weeks but the message to those concerned is don't worry - he wants to move to us, Porto are prepared to sell him, looks like a fee has been agreed only his contract termination details require sorting, nobody else is in for him AND if the worse came to the worse and we didn't get him then we would move on and get someone equally as good. We've got a strong enough squad to cope now.
