I get the impression any discontent stems from Mancini's sacking and a few posters belief that Pellegrini isn't an upgrade.

You don't say ... :)

Jokes aside, I think no matter how confident/skeptical you are about Pellegrini's appointment and the overall job Txiki and Ferran are doing, it's important to acknowledge just how important and powerful the two guys are within the structure of the club, and how much faith Khaldoon must have in them to give them that power. The sacking of Mancini was inevitable whether they'd been at the club or not, so you can't really even count that as something they did. Certainly appointing his successor was Txiki's call and any success or failure Pellegrini has will reflect upon him.

As I said to Skashion earlier, I believe the general narrative of the forum will have changed dramatically in a couple of months time. There are countless genuine posters who are concerned and I respect that. However the concern is misplaced IMO, because we are in the best possible hands from top to bottom.

By replacing a winner with a nice manager who in reality has won nothing.Am I not allowed to think that?believe me I know many a blue who feel the same but are just keeping quiet for now.
Minds made up after 3 games. Brilliant
both mancini and hughes were hated by some before a ball was kicked.

They are suffering from selective memory syndrome mate.

Personally,I am giving him ten games to sort it out. Anything other than a win on Saturday is simply not good enough after the investment over the summer.

no contradiction there then

So you are saying a draw is good enough Steve?Whats the contradiction.I am going to judge him after ten games but we need a win and a win only on Saturday.

I'm not saying a draw is good enough

what i am pointing out is you either give him ten games or you are giving him one game mate

personally i think we were poor Vs both Cardiff and Hull and I hope to see some improvement on Saturday
however if there isn't i'll not call for his head just yet

Can I point out that Mancini never won a league game at the Britannia?
I can remember him definitely beating Hughes though.
Come on you two, shake on it.
