If he goes for €45m+addons€12m it must be that pep thinks he won’t get a lot of game time and his fee will go down in the next few years if we say we want 80m of he staying! Also if we are letting him go we must be bringing in someone this January

Wouldn’t be so sceptical I don’t think. Few sources including the pretty reliable Gerard Romero. There’s no issue with an early announcement either, he’s not going to play between now and NYD.
Same sources that told us Messi was so so close to signing. All but done, announcement imminent. Every 10 days or so, for about 50 days. Till it didn't happen. Same sources that told us Garcia was so so close to joining them, the summer before he actually did.
Here, if it happens in the next few hours, I'll eat 2 mince pies in one go!

We bought Kompany for 8m and paid 40m for Mangala. Ridiculous!We bought Ake for £40m and we're selling Torres for £38m? This is ridiculous.
Shame that he's going before he really got to fulfil his true potential with us, but always think you should let players go if they don't want to be here. Don't think the reported price really reflects his value though. We shouldn't be doing Barcelona any favours.
€55m is alright if true. Doubled our money, although I'm not sure how they are paying this, or how many years it's over, weird enough. I do think it should have been more, I also don't like the fact that some of these Spanish players at the first sight of a club calling simply run back, fair enough the lads young and may want to be close to home and what not, but I think there should be rules as to how early a signing like that could leave after joining.

they are not saying it is 45m. They are saying it is closer to that than to 75m. Which is a clever way of saying 60m (that being a figure i have chosen to run with, for the sake of the point i'm making
