Just jesting, no point hanging on to players who have made it clear they don't want to be here especially when you can get double the fee we paid for them.

Just like Denis Suarez and Nolito he might not be cut out to living long term in a vastly different culture and climate.

Thought he was incredibly quiet for us when he played out wide to the point you’d forget he was even playing. He is a good finisher though and I could see him going on to be a top goalscorer if it all comes together for him.

Definitely a big factor, then Mahrez' form, and the fact that Jesus now operates on the right or left. Makes Torres redundant out wide and he's got a lot to work on his game if he wants to be a proper number 9, don't think Prem can allow that transition smoothly given the toughness of league. It also looked like the Spain NT convinced him that while he can play as a forward he still prefers to play out wide.

Torres always seemed a bit of an oddball to me. Bit of a loner by all accounts.

His mental strength may take him very far. It may not.
