Think it makes sense for all concerned. He's clearly talented but was hard to see quite where he fit into our side. I think moving to Manchester at that age, with the pandemic, getting COVID a couple of times (if I recall correctly), a few injuries, he just never had the chance to really settle in.

Hope the move works out for him and we can bring in the final piece of the puzzle to take his place

No strikers at all now which is OK as long as that’s the plan.

On the face of it it’s a very bad decision. I can only think/hope there is a plan we know zero about.

No replacements for Aguero Fern Mendy and now Torres. 3 gaps last window and a 4th now. We can’t continue to run the squad down surely, particularly when we are going for the PL and the CL.
