Agree..think the player would improve us but wouldn’t like to acquire him like this. Too much of an Anfield & classless manoeuvre.

The manager was playing him in pretty much defensive midfield yesterday, he was right to be angry. Shades of Bernardo being played at LWB at Benfica.

Sterling did it, he's turned out more than fine and pretty much the model professional for City. Don't try and make character judgements from a tweet.
Its an opinion, I never said it was true. Please refrain from telling me how I choose what morals I like to see in players. Also i don't expect raheem to finish his career at City for that reason.

Joey Barton enjoys your naivety.

OK, it's your opinion fair enough.

My opinion is that fans thinking they can judge the character of a player they've never met, heard speak or probably even seen play football, through the translated second hand report in club friendly media is dumb.

The poster quite clearly said tonight.

Also, they played Sevilla yesterday not Valladolid.

You're right, sorry.

So basically we're hearing that a 20 year old kid didn't want to warm down after a game that happened on the 7th July where he didn't play.

And some people think it's a sign he's the next Joey fucking Barton. Jesus Christ.

Considering all the transfer news linking us with him has happened since then, we can at least rule out the stupid theory that Pep and Txiki might not buy him because of it.

Edit - Oh and he played the next 3 games, so obviously some really serious rifts in the dressing room were caused by this bad boy behaviour.

It's almost as if club friendly newspaper has put out a negative story about the best youth product the club has produced in 15 years because he's leaving on the cheap after running his contract down.

Valencia could be really awkward with him regarding his transfer

Next you'll be telling me that Ibe isn't better than Sterling!

Nobody is saying we wont buy him. We are very clearly very close to buying him. This is clearly obvious.

I'm sure the majority of us can see the newspaper's angle and don't need you to point that out to us.

My personal opinion is that I dont like the kind of behaviour being reported. It suggests an immature and unprofessional attitude.

That's it. Nothing more. Doesnt mean we wont sign him, doesnt mean he wont be a great player, doesnt mean anything other than I just dont like it.

You need to stop wading in and "putting people right" all over this forum. You do it on a regular basis and it isn't a good look.
