Feyenoord(A) - Post Match Thread

Feyrod, thank you for your honesty.
I think that Mr. (or Mrs) Dribble must be a JCL to come out with his /her last comment.
I remember when we weren't even the top team in the old 3rd division!
We have had a lot of luck, tremendous determination and a clear plan to get where we are now.
Maybe your club will benefit similarly to us in the future, I think that you ,as proper fans, are worthy.
@feyrob was talking about last night's Champions League match, not lamenting about being in a lower league or recounting1999's Great Escape.

FYI, this thread being a Feyenoord Post Match thread, is about last night's match & the CL (the clue's in the name), but I'm sure if you do a little digging, you'll find something about City's 3rd Division exploits in the Classic Thread section.

Feel free to fill yer boots fella.

What a luxury to swap formations and bring in B Silva and look even more threatening, also seeing Sterling/Sane come on and Gundogan and Danillo on the bench is a massive step forward and that's without mentioning the fast full backs we have missed for years.

When you look at the team we will put out at WBA next week really shows how well we have done in improving quality of side, add a couple of kids Foden & Diaz too.

Brilliant week!
9 -0 against quality opposition.
Pep's only concern must be not to allow complacency to set in.
Hopefully the days of just doing enough to win are gone and we will continue to smash the opposition in. Love it.
Can't wait for the next instalment.

Great performance and result.
Ground is a shithole and their famous so called atmosphere dissappears if you score early on.
Loved the faces of their fans when the City fans ripped them a new one all game.

early goals killed them. Aguero's goal was brilliant. We even scored from corners

John Stones, classiest British defender we have had since Paul Lake, quality last night

Lovely performance from City but still far from the finished product. Shocking decisions from referee early on not to send off the Feyernoord striker for a scissor tackle on Walker or keep it cleaner

loved watching that last night!! Sensational!

nothing else to add really as its all been posted already. Stones superb. Walker superb, what a fricking engine hes got! and what a set of afterburners as well! KDB sublime. Merlin his usual top quality self. And our front two who are both scoring goals.

Everyone is singing off the same hymn sheet, work rate, pressing, movement, desire etc etc......its all there and has been all season so far. Long may it continue. :-)

Shakhtar have had good sides in the past. They've beaten a good side tonight so that makes me think that this group maybe a bit harder than we all imagined. Napoli had won 5 on the bounce up, and are level with Juve at the top of Serie A.

It was a really tough start for you tonight conceding early on and it must have rocked your team. You have 2 Cup Finals at home to Napoli and Shakhtar. Score first and you can beat them
I wouldn't underestimate Shakhtar at all. I was listening to some European football "expert" on the radio after the draw had been made and he was absolutely raving about Shakhtar, said they are real dark horses and had every chance of getting out of this group ahead of Napoli. Not sure who he was and he could have been talking shit but he seemed to know a lot about them and seemed to really rate them.
