The issue with the subs was making all three at the same time he totally disrupted the rhythm when after the poor run we were just starting to build confidence now totally wrecked That was down to Pep a man who is often, no regularly, criticised for not making any subsYour problem is fans like you !!! Do you honestly believe that ALL those players should have stayed on and NOT been replaced ??
If so , then I don`t need to engage in any further discussions with you as you honestly don`t understand football.
Well at least I own one unlike your man clitoris, ;)You are a bellend.
AguerooooooooooooooooooooooStopped the rot! Season restarts today.
It was classic old school stuff. Poor old Erling after all those goals. They just had to play it safe, keep the ball and see out the game. Then Gvardiol criminally plays an absolute hospital ball and it's 3-1. You could visibly see the panic and loss of belief grip them from the minute the ball hit our net. All old hand blues just knew what was coming from there.
Yea but it's on your forehead.Well at least I own one unlike your man clitoris, ;)
Good goals you hold your hands up but all three tonight were the result of keystone cops shambolic defendingFeel worse after this than I did after Saturday.
Literally any team can cause us problems at the moment, although alot of the issues are self inflicted.
Just watched the 3 goals back again, it's quite astonishing we are talking about the Premier league champions and CL winners 18 months ago. It's dog and duck stuff.
Most of us know what we think we need to do against l’pool, the thing is Pep’s stubbornness to change systems won’t allow these changes. Of course we should bulk up midfield to stifle them, with a flat back four. I’d go with Walker, Dias, Akanji and Ake on Salah. Will Stones be fit to play in midfield? Who knows? It will be a bonus if he is.Shite ending to a game we actually did alright in, not brilliantly in, just alright in up until their first goal and then it was as clear as day we’d crumble.
He was right to make changes at 3 nil with 15 minutes to go against a team that hadn’t troubled us whatsoever until they scored. But those frailties are going to be exposed time and again unfortunately. I wouldn't have expected our under 13’s to draw the game from that point in all honesty with some proper game management.
Individual mistakes gave those goals away tonight. But with a team low on confidence as soon as that first goes in we should have shut up shop, changed the shape and let the game run its course. Instead we just carried on with plan A, as it’s the only plan we have and well, you know the rest.
Our defensive shape is non existent and if we do bother to make a challenge it’s an apologetic one. I’d fucking love to know what we do in training. I suspect it’s rondo, rondo and a bit of rondo. We sure as hell aren’t practicing defensive work.
I’d play a 4 5 1 on Sunday, but actually a back 4. Not wing backs, inverted midfielders or any other complicated shit, not because it’s the scousers, but because we need to shore it up and stop the rot and the players we have currently available cannot defend whilst playing in this system. We saw tonight on occasion, admittedly against weaker opposition than usual, that if we play forward passes instead of twatting about side to side for 6 minutes to gain 40 yards we can actually create real chances, so going heavier at the back should help us in more ways than one.
