That result doesn’t even really matter anyway. Finish in the Top24 and you go through to the KO preliminary round. The format rewards shitness. I’d rather finish 25th this season, go out and concentrate on finishing 4th in the PL so we’re in the CL for any new signings next Summer. Whether we get in the 24 or even sneak the 8, we aren’t winning the CL this season.

It might actually show the board that skimping on transfers has backfired big style!

If you were a DOF and you see the manager staring, head down at the ground for nearly a minute when his team is leading 3-1 and they need some guidance and inspiration to see them over the line after FIVE consecutive losses, you may think the manager isn't doing his job properly.

I think we are regretting him signing. Appalling game management. No fucking influence on that team whatsoever once they cross that white line

As bad as we are in defence, it’s how the squad has been allowed to turn into one with zero goal threat that is killing us as much as no defence or midfield.
We have, Haaland apart, small technical players who all have zero pace, creativity or goals in them. Even tonight v a poor team, till the penalty you couldn’t see where a goal was coming from and then we got a lucky 2nd with a deflection.
It’s been an issue all season, we started with Chelsea and it was a good time to play them and that game could have easily gone the other way, Then starting with Ipswich, we should have been 4 up at half time yet missed chance after chance and got away with a penalty call on half time that would have got them a leveller.
And from then we have seen games like Sporting, Spurs, Brighton, Southampton etc where again we should have been out of sight but woeful finishing left us with defeats or hanging on.
We have zero threat in goals and assists from any of our wingers, no 2nd striker in the squad, no goals from midfield and we make scoring goals look complex yet other teams make scoring goals easy v us.
It has to be piss poor coaching. Our fitness levels and injuries, our awful transitions, our finishing, our woeful set pieces, you do wonder if he is too loyal to the coaching staff. We are meant to have one of the best training facilities in football but we seem to be lacking this season in all of the basics

I know that mate but as a whole 11 it's a different 11 that ended the game..

That starting 11 wins the game 3 nil for me.

Pep never makes subs when we are losing so don't do it now when we need to get a win under our belts.

He literally always makes subs from 70 mins onwards.
