Foden may well be flavour of the month, but Brahim is the further along so I'd wager he'd be the more likely to start.I'd rather the opposite.

Nothing to do with being flavour of the month, I'd just rather see the lad that's been with us since under 9s get his chance and think it would give the whole Academy a lift. Don't agree that Diaz is further along either.Foden may well be flavour of the month, but Brahim is the further along so I'd wager he'd be the more likely to start.

Looks like ESPN3 or FoxSports ?
Flavour of the month?? A very odd statement given he has been developing brilliantly over the past 12 months at least. The wider public may only just have been made aware of his ability but not supporters who have watched his progress for themselves.Foden may well be flavour of the month, but Brahim is the further along so I'd wager he'd be the more likely to start.
Flavour of the month in the way that after the World Cup, he is now the one youth player everyone has decided is the one. Before that it was Brahim. Before that it was Aleix Garcia, before that Manu Garcia, before that Rony Lopes, before that Denis Suarez. A lot of our fans seem to only have room for one youth player in their thoughts and then instantly discard the previous one when a new one comes along. It's not an insult of Foden or his abilities, more of the weird mentality of some of our fans and how taken they are by the next thing before even giving the current one a chance.Flavour of the month?? Foden is the more mature player,he's much more team orientated in his approach and his game is more complete.
You miss my point. How can you claim something that hasn't yet occurred as not true and claim also that someone's belief is untrue under the same argument. It's all speculative until we see the team sheet and outcomeHe says “not true” to the poster saying we should start our strongest possible line up tonight. It’s not true as a) it’s a stupid idea and b) Pep has already said he will start with players that didn’t start at the weekend.
