FFP - 21 Man Squad Restriction & Homegrown Quota

Just trying to get a handle on this as it's critical for our CL campaign - anyone found any clear information on the required make-up of the 21 squad?

Isn't it a bit ironic to be fining a club £49 million for overspending!

Seems all these proposals were about protecting the status quo.

I'd like to see how it impacts us but to be honest I don't mind if we aren't hugely successful in the CL next season. In some ways this could be a blessing if younger players are given more of a chance.

I only really care about the domestic trophies. Lets make it a triple next year :-)

I agree about the importance of winning domestic trophies. What concerns me (and I don't fully understand the sanctions) is how players like Aguero and Silva (and any potential tranfers) will feel about being part of a team that isn't likely to challenge in Europe for a while
Again I state I don't fully understand the sanctions.

My only slight concern and it is very slight, but this particular ruling does damage our chances of CL success dramatically in the short term. WIll this put off any potential signing or even worse make some of our current players wanna jump ship in pursuit of CL glory.

No problem. You made the point in two sentences whilst I waffled.

My concern (repeating myself) is that we are not having to sell our stars because we on the face of it can't challenge
in Europe (short term)

If Soriano is accurate that City will break even, then why should it be a while?
