This stuff annoys the shit out of me and agree why invite problems for pennies.
Sponsorship around obscure betting companies, crypto and NFTs are highly controversial and often fraught with many problems.

The author Phillipe Auclair is very anti-City when I've heard him on the guardian football weekly. The standard sportswashing, state ownersip, human rights abuses etc etc.

On betting though he's not just singling us out. He's had a series of heavyweight articles about betting in general and dodgy sponsors impacting on many clubs.

Let's not forget those twats from down the East Lancs have had issues as have the rags.

According to this mornings BBC.

Barcelona recorded a profit of £86m for the last financial year and expect to make a £240m profit next year, the club has announced.

He's a pompous French **** who resorts to abuse when challenged. I voted Brexit just so we'd chuck him out.

He's also a hypocrite because he (and others like Barney Droneaway) were basically defending Joey Barton, when he was suspended after betting on football matches. I politely but firmly challenged him by saying he should be challenging the whole culture of gambling in football, not making excuses for individuals. I got told I was "rude and illiterate". Nice to hear he's come round to my way of thinking.
