FFS! Airline rip-off!

Just a note for anyone booking flights today: Do not use a company called CheapoAir

I booked flights to Paris for myself, my brother and my friend. I saw them on skyscanner and after going through the various booking screens I ended up on their website where I could pay for the flights. I was meant to pay £500 for all three of us (there and back) and have booking confirmation to prove this. Unfortunately, after I checked my bank account I'd realized they'd charged me £1000 (roughly).

I phoned them 3 times, and discussed the error, they fobbed me off and told me it was actually Flybe who'd taken double the amount they should have done.

I contacted Flybe, who investigated what had happened, they informed me it was Cheapoair who double charged me and gave me some information to pass onto their support/billing team who could deal with my refund. I've since called cheapoair 5 times to chase up an email I sent a week ago which no one has responded too. They're just ignoring me.

Fortunately I paid by MasterCard so I'm in the process of trying to get the payment cancelled, but it's absolutely atrocious customer service on cheapoair's part. DO NOT USE THEM.

Also, if anyone else has some experience with this type of thing I could do with some help. I'm hoping MasterCard will be able to help me out, but if not I'm considering taking it to a small claims court.

AVOID AT ALL COST.

Nearly fell for it myself. Tried to book a fight to Paris. Can't remember who it was via. The link sent me to their website, the price then doubled. Thankfully I didn't confirm their booking.

got this for £55 each

Thanks! Seriously, fair play to you mate - I was messing around for about 10 minutes as my boss was in a meeting and had to check whether I could get the time off which cost me a fair few quid! That said, I was prepared to go up to £250 for flights and with trains to and from Birmingham it's come in at just over £220

tried to book the £55 Norwegian flight from Birmingham but everytime it processed payment it came back saying that it wasn't available at that price - search again, gave up in the end now going from Stansted with ryanair

Chadd for Chadderton, yeah? Please don't tell me you thought you'd booked from Manchester... If they let you transfer the flights then someone London based might want them. I'd lean towards it at that price.

Not quite that bad. I thought I was booking from / to Stansted, but in the rush with prices going up before your eyes we're flying back to London Gatwick not London Stansted

Just need to figure out the best way to get from Gatwick to Stansted at 8pm on a Thursday night now

Just booked flights from East Midlands to Valencia for 4 of us (Tuesday to Thursday) with trains to Madrid £135 each.

Use a site called Loco2 for your trains!

5 of us have booked flights from Liverpool on Tuesday May 3rd to Dublin, returning Thursday May 5th. £9.99 each seat, each flight.

We're staying in Dublin on Tuesday then flying from Dublin to Madrid at 615am on match day. Total price is around 135 each plus 2 nights in digs.

Had a mare this AM with people taking their time to make their mind up. Found returns from Stanstead day before - day after for £45 each. by the time everyone had said yes they were up to £150. Well pissed off.

Was going to wait for Spike but just found this on Sport Options site. Surely not going to be that much for a day trip is it?
