I've played about 15-20 now with it on, and i have got the hang of it.
i'm saying the computer always shoots before i get the chance to make a tackle or time a shot block and pass interception.

Then make sure that your players are in the correct shape? Or press higher?
It's fine for many other people.

just to add, what i thought was cool today..
i chipped a long ball over the last defender and chased it with Aguero, the keeper came out and picked it up just outside the 18 yard box, and step backed in.
i got a free-kick and he got booked.
on other fifa's you can't challenge the keeper when this happens, it just goes into his hands, but it seems now you can follow-through if you get me and go in for a 50/50.

The defending im now starting to get the hang of and it's a fantastic system and i feel it will really really improve the game.Just charging in at top speed and taking the ball with x just was not realistic was it?
Holding down R1 to have a team mate help you track the player in possesion is effective but you also need to apply L2 and x at the same time with your own player to track/close down the opposition player effectively.If you feel like you are in a solid position to win the ball press o.It's all about timing, if you misstime your tackle your up shit creek and will leave them in acres of space.Using sprint is not worthwhile at all when defending this year, leaves you open to far too many mistakes.
Also switching effectively between your own player and the player you have tracking with R1 can be helpful but again it's all about timing.
It takes a bit of patience to get used to it but when you start getting a feel for what you are doing it all comes together very quickly.
By no means a perfect insight as im still trying to master it properly myself but hope it helps.
