The replayability is destroyed by kids (and some adults) continuously choosing either Real Madrid/Barca/Chelsea to play online.
I'd say on the mic: Look i'll select Leyton Orient (1star team) you select an equivalent team and we'll have a proper competition.
The guy then says: no, i wanna be Real Madrid, wa wa wa wa wa.
What is so entertaining about constantly playing as the same fucking team all day every day and winning, there is no joy in this.
I'll say to the guy: well you'll win?
The guy: I know, that's why I'm here.
Pointless.
Some system which allows the user to have a "block list" of clubs that you cannot select.
So If I have Real Madrid or even City on this block list, the kids can't select these teams :)
i saw a video on youtube from EA where by the host can now set the settings in ranked matches i.e. up to 3 stars and a league system is in effect
Totally agree I can't stand having to play against Real Madrid every fecking game. I didn't ask for much, just that they pick another 4.5 star team when I was City, or at the very least that they not use Madrid. If it was possible for me to hate C. Ronaldo any more, Fifa11 made it happen. I've had the most fun on Fifa when both my opponent and I select 3 star teams. In my experience, a lot of Mexican players have a favorite Mexican team, but many tend to fall back on Madrid as their "second favorite club in real life/favorite club to play with in fifa".. When I encounter that I always try to set up a game with two Mexican league clubs. Just better.
As far as the block list thing, fantastic idea. Real Madrid will be going on mine 4.3 seconds after I get the game. Although.... with the way City will look in this year's game, maybe bring those bastards on.
