unless it has amazing players such as Castolo, Minanda, Valeny included I won't be buying it.

Does anyone else find on Pes that Minanda seems to start the season scoring loads, then Castolo scores more? Maybe just me?

Nah, for me they all start the season scoring none, and continue that way, leading me to finish bottom of the league and sell the the lot of them. But that's what Master League and PES are all about, you wouldn't find anything that fun in cold, clinical FIFA.

There has already been an option for at least FIFA 11 where you could choose the opponent level in a custom ranked match (ie. 3.5-4.0 stars), although when I used that I would never find an opponent. From the looks of their new system where you set up everything before hand it will encourage a lot more players to experiment with different teams. With the squad we've got though don't expect anything else than the usual Chelseas and Barcelonas though.

Nah, for me they all start the season scoring none, and continue that way, leading me to finish bottom of the league and sell the the lot of them. But that's what Master League and PES are all about, you wouldn't find anything that fun in cold, clinical FIFA.

Aha, it's much the same for me, a decent striker is always the first player I buy. I tend to finish midtable in my first season, can normally get promoted the season after though.

If anybody scores in the early games I find it tends to be Ordaz, Gutierrez, Minanda or very occasionally a screamer from Dodo (it happens about once a season). You really can't beat the frustration of completely missing the ball with Stremer or Ceciu, running through treacle with Valeny, or my personal favourite, Ivarov attempting a save and not getting within a mile of the ball.

That said, Ruskin is like a rocket if you keep him on for a few seasons!

(Oh yeah, and does anybody ever actually use Iouga? I don't think I have in 9 years of playing PES!)

I always put him wright-phillips and milner on, the latter on the wings and dzeko obviously up front; put them on about 75 min and just used to float the balls in and dzeko would at leats get a goal even more some times. Clinical in the box when heading it.

How do you use him? I can't figure out how to get the best out of him

not the quickest obviously, but great in the air, use his quality close control to beat players. two strong striking feet.

that said i cant get fuck all out of the likes of torres

How do you use him? I can't figure out how to get the best out of him

Try using the ball roll skill (LT and hold either left or right) to beat defenders. Works a treat.
