After skipping FIFA 11 and not playing the series for two years, I got this for Christmas, and it's absolutely quality.
Not too keen on Ultimate Team, though this is probably because of my preference of the other game modes.
Head to Head Seasons is an awesome new addition. Division 5 at the moment, 1 point off promotion. Record is 25-3-1. My only loss because the EA fucking servers disconnected me. Fuming.
Who do you reckon is the best team to use? Personally, I've never been beaten as Milan, so they're my go-to team.

The AI within career mode is terrible! I can go 2 up against a team so easily and then all of a sudden my team just go shit, marking goes to pot, passes are off as my players start running behind the opposition and then I concede shit goals! It all seems a bit predetermined.
I know it's not unbeatable but I'll end up doing the same things over and over to beat it and that's a boring and doesn't help me when I play against a human! Why is my online always 'restricted firelwall' until about 11pm, anyone elses like that?

Using the word "usually" is correct as some players who win a lot are actually shit and only win due to negative formations, ultra defensive, cpu defending on clubs, general negativity.
As i said (i think your on PS3 so cant play you) good players dont need to rely on a packed midfield or Eto'o v 4* defences (between 70-80 players). Just simply win, within reason without needing to exploit extreme circumstances.
When i play against Madrid people that use Ronaldo are so predictable, (same applies to Messi-Barca, Robben/ Riber-Bayern, Ibra -Milan etc) pass to him, do skill, shoot from miles out etc. Its so easy to defend/ read its unreal.
Crouch & Jones upfront with Pennant & Etherington on the wings & play Jerome in CAM so you got pace through the middle as well as the wings also play Palacios in CDM in a 4-1-2-1-2 formation. Just cross balls in all game, easiest way. I know it's boring and that but if you really do need to win a game that's the team to be. I've never been beat on Head to Head with Stoke.
PS3? I challenge you with Newcastle. I will inflict your first 'H2H' defeat

H2H is class. Incredibly frustrating when you're in Div 1 though. Full of players who just go 1 up and then pass it round the back line ALL game OR, people who quit when you score in the first 5 minutes meaning the result is void.
Your H2H record looks impressive - ps3 or xbox? If it's PS3, add me (Hurrikeen) and I will play you.

My advice get used to the tactical defending otherwise you're fucked for any online play. Just keep jockey backwards and cut out the space, and don't throw yourself into the tackle.
It sounds simple like that but just get to grips with it and you'll be flying!
