Must say I got this CWC ass-backwards. Thought it would be a flop with attendance and quality of play but matches I’ve seen have been great fun with many players giving it their all and managers picking quality lineups and, while fans are perhaps not filling these sizable venues for group stages, they’re quite energetic and in greater numbers than I expected.
