This smacks of, be careful what you wish for. This could end up a lot worse than before.
See Gill decided to keep his seat. Not good. Platini as president, not good.
They were saying on talkSPORT earlier that Platini may have got too close to Blatter over the years which may go against him even if there was nothing shady going on, plus not going up against Blatter in elections may come across as cowardly and not showing signs of a good leader.
Platini couldn't even convince France to vote for Prince Ali on Friday, they voted for Blatter instead.
I reckon Gill has a chance, but to me he just comes across as the classic FA type of man where FIFA will be run to make as much money as possible i.e. a business rather than making the game better overall, plus everything prim and proper etc..
