I saw a shocking stat that said, of the 22 FIFA Executive Committee members who were in place when the 2018 & 2022 World Cups were awarded, 16 have either been found guilty or are under investigation for corruption.

I am sure that Gill will end up in the mire over this. The FFP thing is a can of worms. Why the sudden U-turn from Platini on FFP?

As the FT said just before the World Cup FIFA is being run like a sovereign state.
Switzerland's financial secrecy system provided the mechanism for Mr B. to ignore world opinion and display his megalomaniac tendencies. Lapdog Mr P. and the G14 then relocated Uefa from France to Switzerland to have better chance of controlling their golden egg.

The law changes in April this year by Switzerland specifically targeted Sports Organisations (probably prompted by FBI evidence) and the rest is developing.

It will take time but in fact the longer it takes the better to see just how far the culture has spread within Uefa.
Will anyone who has had their fingers in the till put themselves forward as representative of the 'clean brush' approach or will they wonder if this makes them a target for further investigation ?
Maybe they will prefer to keep quiet just in case their ill gotten gains are revealed. They may only have been raiding the petty cash whereas others were receiving mansion purchasing cash but if they have risen to any senior level within the G14 controlled Uefa board of delegates then they know all about cartel forming and now realise that tweaking the tail of any tiger (metaphorically including our owner) is not wise if the cage door is forced open by legal process.

Their perceived culture of being untouchable has been destroyed so they like us have absolutely no idea of how much evidence the FBI and Swiss authorities already have so let them sweat it out.

Looks like the U.S.A are doing a decent job in weeding these people out of football .
