Cameroon have to be banned from the next World Cup for that display - what an absolute farce! Disappointing that the BBC team feel the need to blame the ref too. I understand she could maybe have done more to diffuse the situation but the behaviour of the Cameroon players was childish & laughable and the officials cannot be blamed

I think if you miskick the ball it's not a backpass but that was a shit, cushioned, touch & deliberately left to the keeper.

The ref lost the game early on when she didn't act on the elbowing from the Cameroonian. She was not up to the job and they (Cameroon) exploited it.

If a men's team acted like that, they'd get a massive fine for failing to control their players. I wonder if there'll be any punishment.

On a side note, I've watched a few games in this World Cup, and the idea that the women are any less likely to dive or roll around on the floor feigning injury is bollocks.

Think she was hoping to let it all simmer down and not stoke it any more. It's a very hard situation when you have that many players kicking off,
here there and every where. Maybe VAR could've been used to locate the main protagonists ;-)
