I think it is the fact that there really is no point to posting in this thread about how much you can’t get in to the women’s game, given this is a thread to discuss the World Cup and, today, specifically the Australia v England match.

This is a thread for the womens World Cup, not one particular game. I said the quality of this competition hasn't been great, not the womens game in general.

This is a thread for the womens World Cup, not one particular game. I said the quality of this competition hasn't been great, not the womens game in general.

Jesus wept, you've proved me right by quoting me. I didn't say I didn't like womens football, I said the quality of this competition has not been great. Which it hasn't. Its meant to be the biggest advert for the game, its been pushed massively by the media and advertisers but the quality hasn't matched the build up and hype. That's it.
