I don’t mind so long as it results in a day off :)They could start by calling them People’s Day, or Citizens’ Day, instead of Bank Holiday!

Careful!
I'd say there will be a lot of backlash and questions raised about a female manager of the English national team so they'd need to be 'sellable' and the world Cup would be what they would keep reffering too.Do you need an international manager to be marketable?

Yeah, attendances only increased because they put the matches in bigger grounds after the Euros win, winning it is nothing to do with it.An article on the BBC web site today titled "Women's World Cup final: How England became good at women’s football."
Contains the following paragraph:
In 2022, BBC analysis suggested the average WSL player now earns £47,000 in 2022,and after the Lionesses' Euros success, WSL attendances increased by 267%, helped by big games being held at the country's biggest stadia, including Old Trafford, Emirates Stadium, Anfield and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. So yet again the BBC completely ignore MCWFC and it's impact on the womens game.
The team that won the Euros had five players associated with MCWFC in the starting eleven and the winning goal was scored by a current player who came on as a substitute along with three other players associated with our club. A total of 9 players out of the 17 that took part during the match.
Our ladies have won 1 Super League, 3 FA Cups and 4 League Cups whilst the ragettes have won SOD ALL.
Prople think the BBC are impartial, nothing could be further from the truth.
What is his actual job?!. Sits feet up drinking champagne saying "tally ho lads!", while drinking out of the bottle and deciding on Howard Webb's payrise, then make the occasional Wembley appearance?.The president of the FA prince William can't be bothered turning up .
What a **** I say sack the twat
Man goes into thread to tell people he doesn't like the thread. Thx for sharing. What is his actual job?!. Sits feet up drinking champagne saying "tally ho lads!", while drinking out of the bottle and deciding on Howard Webb's payrise, then make the occasional Wembley appearance?.
To be honest, I'm not interested in this at all. The streets will be deserted, so can go to Tesco and back very quick and not have a human maze in front of me. I bet there's some twat in Boxpark Croydon armed with a microphone on TV running round asking people what they think the score will be.
Sunday for me, not Lionesses. I have tried to enjoy it, scrapped the barrel and stuff but at the end of the day it just don't have the excitement for me like the men's tournament does. I would really love it to, but it just don't.
