FIFA Women's World Cup 2023

Concerned by Spain picking Paralluello from the start. Her pace is going to make us sit deep, we'll have to play on the counter, when we get the ball that is.

Just need to replicate what Japan did against Spain with about 28% possession...

I thought Sarina’s response to a question about what impact she would make if she came off the bench was excellent. Sarina didn’t even mention James. She responded that she felt everyone would make an impact. Well done Sarina.

Will Alex Scott never shut up!! :-)
Absolutely.Appalling line of questioning. Let's not bother about the starting 11 and what they can do, more that James will come off the bench and be the superstar ! Bbc agenda merchants yet again.

It doesn’t need to have the same excitement. I don’t have the same feeling watching the Olympics as when i watch City but I can still enjoy the show and cheer our athletes on.

It clearly isn’t comparable to the men’s game but it is improving and I suspect in another 10-15 years (when young boy/girls of today turn into adults) it’ll have advanced even further.

Pretty much this although I would say it does have the excitement. Sport by its nature is exciting. You can't tell me that if England are winning 1-0 going into injury time today and Spain are all over them it isn't exciting.

Can’t tell you how nervous and excited I am for this game. My mrs was one of the original city ladies and one of my daughters at a young age was predicted to go on to big things but unfortunately other things take over.
I also help out with the girls football teams at the school I work at and this is a very proud moment for women’s football . Come on England ..
