Stage management via VAR is getting far too obvious, both in this and the men’s WC, and in the PL.
If the VAR didn't want to kill the game they could have just not recommended the review for the handball and saved all the fuss with the penalty in the first place.

Earps was fine. Had a leg behind the line.

On VAR, it may have less issues in future but it’s a thankless job

I'm still at a loss why this ref has been selected after reffing a semi?

She not controlling the game and letting the Spanish shithousing take over the match.
