FIFPro official says Balotelli needs professional help

Psychiatrist is too much , but a psychologist , specially those who concentrate on talk therapy would help him. He needs to get that anger out , be more focused on what really matters , and basically grow up. Some mature later , so that's all , he is not a sick person.

And everyone says im nuts for pointing out the needless agenda against the kid. Why is everyone and their mother, nan, dog talking about a 21 year old. Its getting pathetic now.
It was pathetic last season.

He is no worse than Rooney was at that age but they are reffed poles apart.

I'm fucking sick of some blues. Cunts.
this 100% its funny how since the FA lodged that ridiculous appeal in regards to Rooney at the Euros which somehow got accept is it a coincedence that Rooney has only been yellow carded twice this season. When Rooney kicked out at that Newcastle player and got away with it if it was Mario then he would have a 12 match ban. The double standards in this league is ridiculous especially when it comes to English players. Mancini got slated left, right and centre for his imaginary card waving which covered the fact that the reason he was card waving was down to the referees incompatence in now awarding a red card to Glen Johnson and Figeroa. Rooney is constantly getting in referees faces at every opportunity but this never gets mentioned. Now i am not saying Mario is a saint he is far from it but the media reaction to everything he does it pathetic. The boy cant take a shite without it being on the front page. IMO the FA proved they treat Balo differently to other players when they banned him for the Parker incident but didnt punish Lescott when Lescotts was 10x worse. Us fellow blues need to get behind Mario because mark my words he will take the league by storm next season if he stays with us.

I've thought this for a while.

If he isn't seeing a psychiatrist, he should be. Might save his career.

really ffs

Actually yeah, he's pretty out of control. He doesn't seem able to form normal non-combative relationships with most of his teammates. He gets angry and frustrated every game at calls that don't go his way. The disciplinary issues between the cards and fines would fill a novel-sized book. His manager responds to the question 'will he be sold?" with 'probably- I don't know'; this is the man Mario cites as a father figure.

Even someone who isn't a psychiatrist can see he has obvious abandonment issues. He needs help.

Maybe so, but the fact is that a senior representative from a players union coming out & accusing him of being mentally unstable, could have a negative effect on his career. They are meant to represent him, not scupper his career. As I say, I would have thought that his lawyers may want to take a look at these comments. As may City's lawyers to be honest, as this could arguably affect the player's resale value.

Maybe I'm wrong; like I said in my original post, I'm no lawyer, but I think I've got grounds for a valid point!

He is damaging his career right now beyond belief. Another year of this and he'll be so toxic we won't be able to sell him, that may have already happened actually.

Mario is showing all the signs of having ADHD, thats my professional opinion .

I've read The Dice Man so I feel fully qualified to speak on this topic; Mario is probably more sane than anyone here.

Spot on,if he's mad he has done a good job at getting the pundits foaming at the mouth, as well as a few on here.

so am i mate. we need brooklands blue to come back to compile a dossier.

Yeah let's get a dossier together of Blues we hate. You guys jump on everyone who has a different opinion, it's pathetic.
Better than jumping on the players like a bell end.

Now that (you) is pathetic.

And as is porven every day on here, being a blue does not mean that someone isn't a know nothing fuck. It just means they support the same team as you.

Even after editing you couldn't manage to remove the spelling mistakes!

Why always so angry? One parent family or bullied as a child?

If thats true, then God help the rest of us.
Read The Dice Man and you'll understand, and here's the proof that book was right: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2012/feb/01/top-five-regrets-of-the-dying" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/ ... -the-dying</a>

I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

Human beings are regulated by social norms which mean most of us die feeling unfulfilled with many regrets. If you break free of them as Balotelli seems to have, you'll be happier. I reckon that's why the life-affirming amongst us love Balotelli and love what he represents. I also believe it's why the forum's miserable cunts detest him.
+1

Last week on a different thread I voiced the opinion that football clubs should use Psychotherapists a whole lot more than they do now (if they actually ever do?). Clubs are prepared to pay vast sums of money in transfer fees, wages, insurance etc. They use specialised dieticians, Physiotherapists and any other expert they can to gain an advantage and look after these footballers every whim and need but I often wonder why a whole host of footballers mental issues by and large get ignored. There is and has been a whole catalogue of footballers going off the rails whilst playing nevermind after they've retired and they just don't get the help required.

<a class="postlink-local" href="http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=253004&start=30" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=1&t=253004&start=30</a>

Do you really think football clubs don't use psychiatrists/psychologists/psychotherapists to look after their very, very expensive assets. I happen to know that they do. But of course therapy/treatment is not always successful. How a layman (and I am one) can say whether Balotelli would benefit from treatment is beyond me. As a layman who knows nothing about the private and professional lives of footballers I'd say Balotelli seems more together than Rooney or Giggs. But what do I (or you) know?

Well speaking from personal experience of dealing with footballers I can tell you most definetly some of them need theraphy. Look at Gazza, Barton and yes I would say Mario all would benefit from some guidance and understanding. I'm not saying they're all Schizo's like more that they need some grounding especially some of the younger ones who come into a whole heap of money and have no idea what the value of it is.
