film series /tv shows that never got finished

Did anyone see john carter? I thought it was a great film but it bombed at cinema mainly due to the title which should have referenced mars in order to draw more sci fi fans in. It had a really good ending that set up a sequel but disney have canned the project despite a lot of online fans calling for it to be made. I hope it is done eventually

The trouble with it was that if you haven't read the Barsoom pulp fiction novels of Edgar Rice Burroughs, then you'd have not a clue what the hell was going on. If you have, then you'd realise it was actually pretty faithful to the idea and executed it very well.

So I quite enjoyed it, but I can see why the vast majority thought it was ludicrous nonsense, because the books too were ludicrous nonsense, but enjoyable for all that.

Not doing a 3rd series of Early Doors....criminal.

Remember the Lord Of The Rings cartoon movie....ran out of cash and suddenly stopped

Early doors I wish they'd done more but as the Royale family showed you can milk the cow once too often.
Lord of the rings I saw as a teenager was gutted they never finished it, would have been good if peter Jackson could have finished it with the cash he earns from his version as long as he stayed true to the original

I can't believe they haven't made Rambo 5. The first four kept me guessing right to the end and the plots had so many twists and turns that it almost required an Oxford University education to understand them! (To be fair the first one was excellent)

I totally agree with this. Series 1 was brilliant and series 2 was even better. I was so gutted when I found out the show had been cancelled and was hoping for a huge public outcry and demand that the show be re-instated. Apparently the writer offered to bring the series to an end in a two hour special but the bods at 4 turned it down. How are we supposed to know what happens in the end...a Graphic Novel?

Well you're in luck then because they are making Rambo 5 Last Blood due out next year I believe

There was a comedy police show in America in the 80s called Sledge Hammer that was so timely and cliche I loved every minute of it! My friends and I cried when they cancelled it. I hope you got it in England. If only they made TV that BAD still!
