Films that were acclaimed that are actually rubbish

A great many of these I’ve never seen, as I don’t watch a lot of movies, or simply don’t have the interest in the premise (e.g. I’ve never seen any of The Godfather films because I’ve no interest whatsoever in the mafia and have a deep suspicion of the character of people who do).
One that leaps straight to my mind though and has already been mentioned is Dances with Wolves. Utter shite.

Blade Runner... dead boring! I didn’t even finish it, remember turning it off and Mrs Brown’s Boys (which I hate) was on tele and I enjoyed that more than Blade Runner.
