Yep, I don't doubt we may have been a bit touch and go between 2015 and 2017 but since then just from winnings we have easily covered our outlay on players.
Things have shifted from where we were and the moan now from the teams in red is that we don't need to make a profit so can spend more than they can. What they don't understand is that the model city is being run on is increasing the intrinsic value of the club as an asset rather than being milked by shareholders wanting a return every quarter.
