I fail to understand how we just don't improve. People will point to reaching two finals and a semi final under Southgate and yes that's correct. We did it somehow in spite of being poor to awful in most games. The most important game I remember us playing well and winning was Germany in the Euro's. After that I struggle to recollect many other decent performances .
I'm watching us play a real minnow of the international game in Finland and we've hardly created anything and at times the Fins are giving us a chasing.

He took a knock about 10 mins ago and was trying to run it off it seems. He seems OK now though.Stones just knackered or not 100%?
Stones was running freely there, looks more like he's just unfit rather than injured?
Catch 22 for him IMO. Needs to play frequently to keep his fitness up - it's no surprise he gets through tournaments with no problem
