I can't see Maureen bowing to the men in suits and doing what he's told. He'd ruffle more feathers again and just walk away with yet another huge payout.Id honestly give it mourinho at this point

You recon Chas likes Association Football?
I bet he f*cking hates it.
I remember when Pep first arrived, despite his 'posession is the law' mantra, he was also coaching even people like David S. to play the ball a little in front of where people were about to go, rather than getting it right to their feet - where they would be stationary, killing movement and momentum.I think the players we have would suit Mourinho's tactics. We're defensively suspect. So in trying to fit in a number of attacking players, we're causing the defence more problems. If we were compact and played on the counter we'd probably be more successful. We were much better under Southgate when we had Kane dropping in and players running ahead of him. Now we have a lot of players largely wanting the ball to feet, with no movement. We keep the ball but do very little with it. There are too many missing pieces for us to be a possession dominating side. We don't have the number 6, although Gomes looks a prospect. We don't have the goalkeeper which is fundamental. And we don't have the right balance in midfield otherwise. Bellingham isn't a player for a possession based game either.

The next two years we had the title and then
the centurions with insane points levels.
Anyone else think the poor quality of football these first two months, at international level and, let's face it, club level as well, is due to the lack of any time at all for coaching? From three or four days a week on average maybe a decade ago to one day a week, or two if you are lucky, these days?
I can scarcely remember a game so far this season where I have said wow, great performance. Even City are just spluttering along.
Too many games ruining the sport, imho. Who'd a thunk it?
