Palmer has been trash so far.

This is what you more often than not get from him in a possession attacking setup.

He not only needs a Keeganattack system, he needs everything going through him.

As many of us have said ad nauseam, he would never have gotten the minutes he has at Chelsea if he stayed at City, much less the production.

And he would have most often been the weak link in our side when he did play, especially given the common tactics of opposition teams we face now. He is actually one of Chelsea’s weak links even now, he just balances it out with his exceptional attacking contributions. But when you are coming up against the likes of Real, Bayern, Inter, Arsenal, and the like most weeks, that won’t be enough.
